You must own WS_FTP Home 2007.0.0.2 to install this hotfix. If you own WS_FTP Home 2007 or have an active Support Agreement, you can download version 2007.0.0.2 with your serial number and email address at http://www.myipswitch.com/. (English version only)

This update addresses a minor bug relating to the following:

  • Fixes a remote format string vulnerability in WS_FTP Home 2007.0.0.2 that can be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's system.

Summary:

  • Folders that are auto-created remotely with linked folders now appear immediately
  • File times are now preserved properly on upload when Preserve File time option is selected in Site Profile
  • Fixed crash when retrying connection after editing the port number.
