Installation Requirements

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit English and German); Windows Server 2008 (32-bit), Windows Server 2003 (32-bit), Windows Vista, Windows XP
  • Support for virtual servers running on VMware ESX (32-bit) and Microsoft Hyper-V 1.0 (32-bit)

Minimum Hardware Requirements

  • Intel Pentium® 4 processor or equivalent, 2 GHz or higher
  • 1 GB system memory
  • 80 GB of available drive space
  • 100/1000 MB Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC)

Logging Database

The MOVEit tamper-evident, cryptographic database logs every action and error for auditing
and reporting. There are two implementation options:

  1. Use the embedded MySQL database that is built-in to MOVEit solutions.
  2. Select an existing Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 Express during the installation of MOVEit Central.
